Just five days from an historic event!

The first meeting of members and supporters of the UK’s first ever customer union takes place in Manchester on Saturday.  With out last speakers confirmed, we’ve got a great line up, and have now finalised the agenda here.

Frances Coppola, economist, commentator and former banker will reflect on the Co-op Bank and the wider banking sector in 2016, and Kathy Brooks from Saddleworth Palestine Women's Scholarship Fund will speak of the impact of account closures on her organisation in a session on human rights in banking.  The full list of contributors appears here.

You can also join us at the end of the day for practical discussions on how the customer union might involve more people in its day-to-day decision-making and on what its priorities might be for the year ahead.

It’s your last chance to sign up for this historic event and meet the Save Our Bank team in 2016!  Go to our eventbrite page for more information.

Best wishes
